Prof. Peter Bienert. Bis März 2005 war der Dipl.-Physiker als Vorstand der BOV AG tätig, die er im Jahre 2000 an die Börse und durch die IT-Krise bis zum Abschluss der Sanierung führte. Er war Mitbegründer und langjähriger Geschäftsführer der David GmbH München, Vorreiter und Marktführer für netzwerkbasierte Produktionssysteme im Medienbereich, nach deren Verkauf an Harman International wurde er dort in das Advanced Technology Council des US-Konzerns berufen. Von 1995 bis 2000 war er Professor für Medientechnik am Fachbereich Medienwirtschaft der Fachhochschule Wiesbaden. Aktuell arbeitet er als Berater, Autor und Gastdozent (u.a. an der Universität Regensburg und der Viadrina Europa-Universität) und bereitet den Aufbau eines neuen Unternehmens vor, das sich mit Führungsfragen im Technologieumfeld befasst.

 

  

 

  

Cato Furum. With six years behind him in HP, he now holds the position as Regional CTO for HP Software in EMEA. In his role, he maintains technical relationships with HP’s largest customers across the EMEA region. He consults customers in architecting and implementing Adaptive Enterprise solutions. He provides a communication link between the customer and our central R&D and products organizations, making sure that HP products and services remain market-leading offerings and live up to customer expectations. In his role, he has carried out several research activities in IT economics aiming at improving and developing new models to better understand the economical effects of IT investments. Before joining HP, he worked for Oslo Stock Exchange as a Change & Problem Manager. In this capacity he lead projects implementing HP OpenView IT Service Management as well as the operational aspects around financial trading systems, cross-border settlement and clearing.

 

  

 

  

Englbert Geiger war nach seinem Studium der BWL zuerst Organisator bei Philips Kommunikations Industrie in Nürnberg, danach Leiter Abt. Datenmanagement, Methoden und Standards für Philips Deutschland in Hamburg und Leiter Org/Dv für Philips UB Elektro-Hausgeräte und zuständig für das Competence Center Europa zur Integration der europäischen Sales Organisationen. Zur Zeit ist er Abteilungsleiter im Geschäftsbereich Brief bei der Deutschen Post AG in Bonn und hier u.a. zuständig für folgende Vertriebssysteme und -prozesse: RISE (Referenzsystem für Endkundenstammdaten), CCS (Customer Care System), Dokumenten- und Workflowmanagement und CCR (Customer Contact Repository).

 

  

 

  

Michael Herr heads the Deutsche Post SOP Group for DHL and MAIL. Additionally, he is responsible for the department Technical System Architecture of Deutsche Post MAIL. He holds a degree in Computer Science and started his IT career in 1990 at AKZO Nobel. From 1992 to 2000 he worked at AVENTIS covering communication networking, Client/Server, Unix, RDBMS and SAP R/3. In 2000 Michael Herr took over the responsibility for the technology portfolio of Deutsche Post MAIL and for developing Deutsche Post's SOA infrastructure solution SOPware. In 2003 he was appointed Head of SOP Group which offers SOA solutions and services to the business units of Deutsche Post World Net.

 

  

 

  

Oliver Juwig ist Diplom Chemiker und seit 2001als Chefberater bei der sd&m AG tätig. Zu seinen Schwerpunkten zählen Architektur, Design komplexer Softwaresysteme, OO- und Webtechnologien sowie Frameworks und komponentenbasierte Software.
Seit 2005 verantwortet er das Innovationsmanagement bei sd&m. Dies beinhaltet die Identifikation und Analyse sowie Bearbeitung von Trends, die für sd&m und die Software-Technik insgesamt wichtig sind.

 

  

 

  

Dr. Peter Kempf ist seit 2005 Manager IT-Architektur bei der HVB Systems und Lehrbeauftragter der TU München. Von 2003 bis 2005 war er Geschäftsführer bei der Projective Software GmbH. Er war zuvor bei der CIO Group 3G (Telefonica, Sonera) und der CTO Razorfish Deutschland beschäftigt sowie Middleware- und Chefarchitekt bei O2 (damals VIAG Interkom). Er war 1995 komm. Professor für Informatik an der Universität Giessen.

 

  

 

  

Wolfram Koller studierte Experimentalphysik mit Schwerpunkt Informatik in Hamburg, Montpellier und Heidelberg. Nach dem Studium arbeitete er vier Jahre bei Andersen Consulting in Projekten zur SAP R/2 und R/3 Einführung. Während dieser Projekte lag der Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit in der Reorganisation der Arbeitsabläufe der Kunden. Danach war er sieben Jahre bei der Hewlett-Packard GmbH im Bereich Systemorganisation und Beratung (HP Consulting) tätig, zuerst als Projektmanager für SAP R/3 und Systemintegrationsprojekte, dann als Leiter des SAP Beratungsbereiches für Norddeutschland. Seit dem 1. Oktober 2000 ist er Vorstandsvorsitzender der von ihm mitbegründeten SYSTRION AG, einem Beratungsunternehmen mit Fokus auf Systemintegration (EAI und SOA).

 

  

 

  


Thomas Kurian is senior vice president of development for Oracle Corporation's middleware platform products, including Oracle Application Server and development tools. He is responsible for shaping all technological aspects of the products' development, release process, management and business development. He has been with Oracle since 1996, holding various product management and development positions in Oracle's Server Technologies Division. He played a key role in bringing Oracle9i Application Server to market. He also served as Oracle's vice president of e-business, driving a number of company-wide initiatives focused on transforming Oracle into an e-business. Prior to joining Oracle, he worked as a consultant with McKinsey and Company.

 

  

 

  

Carlos Montero-Luque is the CTO of the Identity-Driven Products Group in Novell. In this role, he works in setting strategy for the business unit, identifying and working with key new partners and presenting the full identity-driven vision to customers and the marketplace. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Engineering responsible for the delivery of the ZENworks product suite and integration with Red Carpet Enterprise from Ximian, where he had been VP of Engineering, developing products serving enterprise customers as well as over a million open source users. Prior to Ximian, he was Inktomi Corp.'s head of East Coast Engineering Operations for the Network Products and Wireless Divisions after Inktomi's acquisition of WebSpective Software, where he was VP of Engineering. Carlos has held a variety of positions in consulting and engineering at companies such as Cambridge Technology Partners, Open Environment Corporation (acquired by Borland) and the Open Software Foundation.

 

  

 

  

Eric Newcomer. After nearly 16 years at Digital/Compaq, Eric Newcomer joined IONA in 1999. He is currently Chief Technology Officer, responsible for IONA's technology roadmap, product strategy, and standards activities. He was a founding member of the XML Protocols Working Group at W3C and is IONA's primary representative to OASIS and WS-I. He is the author of the award-winning “Understanding Web Services” and more recently of “Understanding SOA with Web Services”, co-authored by Greg Lomow of Bearing Point.

 

  

 

  

Massimo Pezzini is a vice president & distinguished analyst in Gartner Research. His research focus is currently on application platforms, composite applications, high end transaction processing architectures, Web services & service oriented architecture, event-based architectures, application integration and middleware for mobile and wireless applications. He has a long experience in distributed computing, middleware technology, and software architectures. Prior to joining Gartner, he was managing director of the Internet Business Unit of Infostrada, an Italian telecom provider. Before that, he held various positions in the Olivetti group.

 

  

 

  

Jürgen Pfeifer kam 1999 zu Microsoft und arbeitet seit 2001 als Architect Evangelist in der Developer & Platform Strategy Group. Zuvor hat er mehr als 20 Jahre Softwareentwicklung und Projektmanagement auf einer Reihe von Plattformen bei verschiedenen namhaften Unternehmen praktiziert.

 

  

 

  

François Rivard acts as a manager in the e-Integration Business Unit at Unilog Management. He assists companies in defining their needs and solutions around SOA/EAI concepts, helping them build their own vision and a solid process to secure benefits offered by this new model. François is the author of three publications devoted to new technologies, EAI and their impact on organisations, and he participates regularly in conferences across Europe. He also recently released a white paper on SOA and the way it takes up the challenge of aligning IT infrastructure on business demands.

 

  

 

  

Stefan Tilkov beschäftigt sich seit Beginn der 90er Jahre mit Architekturansätzen für große, verteilte Systemlandschaften. Von 1993 bis 1998 war er in verschiedenen Rollen bei einem mittelständischen Softwarehaus tätig, zuletzt als Leiter des Bereichs Anwendungsentwicklung, bevor er 1999 die Technologieberatung innoQ Deutschland GmbH mitgründete. Als Geschäftsführer und Principal Consultant beschäftigt er sich dort schwerpunktmäßig mit modellgetriebenen Software-Entwicklungsansätzen und Service-orientierten IT-Architekturen.

 

  

 

  

Eerko Weeke begann seine Laufbahn in der IT 1967 bei IBM Deutschland in den Bereichen Anwendungsentwicklung, Beratung und Vertrieb. Von 1982 bis 1992 war er selbständiger Berater für DV-gestützte unternehmensübergreifende Logistik und von 1992 bis 1994 Leiter der Organisation und Logistik bei Raab Karcher Ambiente. Seit 1994 fungierte er als Leiter Marketing und Vertrieb der LOGIX GmbH, Bochum, die 2001 mit der CAS AG fusionierte. Heute ist er Practice Leader Integration bei der CAS AG.
